Definition
This is a text box enabling you to provide a description (about 80 characters)
of the profile that is more meaningful that the short profile name. If you're
creating different versions of a profile to do scenario analyses, then use this
text box to distinguish each profile.

Definition
A drop-down menu that lists all state names. Choose the one where the city,
county, or school system is located.

How its Used
The state is used to choose various default values found in the Demographic
Info, Economic Info, and Tourism Info data tabs. These values are stored in a
database table that is provided with the LOCI software. Look at the
data-definitions help for each default variable for more information on
individual default values.

Definition
The type of local jurisdiction being setup with the current profile.

How its Used
There are three choices: city, county, or school district. These correspond to
the jurisdiction for which the profile is being set up. This enables LOCI to
estimate fiscal impacts on the chosen jurisdiction type. Various fields in other
data tabs will be enabled/disabled based on this choice.
